Kristina Kölln is a research assistant since 2020 in the Future.Applied Science Project. She is also a prospective Ph.D candidate at University of Seville (Spain) and University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer (Germany). She holds a M.Sc. in Media Information Technology from University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer and a B.Sc. in Digital Media and Games from University of Applied Sciences in Trier. Her research interests focus on human-computer interaction in combination with gamification and e-learning. She aims to enhance the learner experience for students and reducing stress by using gamification elements in VR and 360 e-learning environments, always keeping accessibility and inclusion in mind. Her Ph.D. project is “How to choose the most suited gamification framework for a specific use case”.
